For users on the free plan, we’ve shifted to a larger, weekly based rate limit to minimize hitting rate limits quickly during a project. Remember, usage is correlated with the "work done" by the agent; straightforward tasks consume less quota than complex reasoning.

Regardless of your tier, all users will continue to enjoy Gemini 3 Pro, unlimited tab code completions and access to all product features, such as the Agent Manager and Browser integration.
