From the beginning, Google Classroom has aimed to transform teaching and learning around the world and has grown to support more than 55 languages. To make Classroom easier to use for more educators and students, we’re expanding support for an additional 17 languages on web and mobile.

Rolling out now:

AfrikaansAssameseEstonianFrench CanadianIcelandicKazakhSwahili

Google Classroom will automatically switch to a newly supported language once your Google Account (for the web experience) and mobile phone settings or app settings (for the mobile app) are set to a preferred language that is supported by Classroom. Certain Google Classroom features might not be accessible in all languages, including Read Along in Classroom, Practice sets, Originality reports and Gemini in Classroom.
