Today, we’re sharing three significant updates to make the Google Developer Program more accessible and valuable to developers everywhere. We’re expanding access to Google Developer Program in China, introducing more flexible options for premium in new regions and inviting you to connect with your local community at DevFest.

Expanding our monthly subscription option

We’re making the Google Developer Program premium tier more accessible to developers around the world. Today, we're expanding our monthly subscription option to India and Italy, bringing the total number of supported countries to 13 1 .

To better support our developer community in India, we are also introducing new regional pricing. This makes it easier for more developers to access advanced tools to improve their workflows. The premium plan includes access to increased rate quotas for the Gemini CLI through Gemini Code Assist Standard, Google Cloud credits to experiment with our latest Gemini models, an expanded limit of 30 Firebase Studio workspaces and more.
