YouTube is turning 20 this year, and it has some big plans.

This year officially marks two decades of YouTube. In its 20 years, YouTube has transformed culture through video and built a thriving creative economy — and there’s more to come.

In his annual letter, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan is laying out his “big bets” for 2025: keeping YouTube in the center of culture, supporting creators as they build their businesses, optimizing YouTube for televisions and using AI to make the platform better.
